Ice watermelons, also referred to as blue watermelons[1], are cold and frozen blue watermelons found in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, its remake Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 and its sequel Yoshi's New Island. If Yoshi eats it, he will be able to breathe three blasts of ice in the original game and five in Yoshi's New Island. The ice can freeze enemies solid, which can then be smashed to pieces. In Yoshi's Woolly World, enemies that are frozen will slide along the ground when touched by Yoshi. The Super Blue Watermelon[2]Special Item is available in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, and the All-you-can-eat ice watermelon!Power Badge is available in Yoshi's Woolly World. Using them automatically places an ice watermelon in the air suspended by a propeller, allowing Yoshi to have its ability at nearly any point, as new ice watermelons will appear following him. In Yoshi's Island, using a Super Blue Watermelon allows Yoshi to spit ice nine times instead of the usual three.

Yoshi's Island Free
Yoshi's Tropical Island is Yoshi's board in Mario Party. It consists of Watermelon Island on the left, Cantaloupe Island on the right (both islands are shaped like two Yoshis), two adjoining bridges, and a small island in the middle. Many Yoshis are said to live here, though only two are shown on the board (three if one of the players selects Yoshi). A Pink Yoshi is on the small island and is surrounded by whirlpools, while a Blue Yoshi is watching from Watermelon Island, unable to do anything about it. Players need to collect Stars to get rid of the whirlpools and reunite the two Yoshis. At the end of the game, the winner's Stars get rid of the whirlpools and form a bridge for the Blue Yoshi to cross to meet his friend on the small island. The winner quickly comes to the island as well, and the players in second and third place, Toad, Koopa, Boo, a Thwomp, and the Star follow. The player in fourth place tries to join them, but is captured and taken away by Bubba. Unlike other boards, the individual Stars do not merge into one big Star. Layout[edit]The board is divided into two islands with two one-way toll bridges between each one, with no other branching paths. This ensures that a player must pass either Toad or Bowser every time they circle an island, and must remain on the same island if they cannot afford to pay the toll to cross. Events[edit]
Spaces[edit]The following table shows how many spaces there are on the board, and how many there are of a certain type.
